Time to Meet your maker
We fly to London this afternoon and the take a train to Penzance Friday and begin the ride Sunday. Our tandem Levi, is built and will meet us Saturday in St. Just for a shakedown ride. Bags are packed and trunks already gone. Headed out for a last training ride with my brother Larry, just keeping the legs loose. Below is Levi's creator , Curtis Inglis, frame builder extrodinaire. Overview
WELCOME!!!!
Walt and Larry Brooks and Rick and Cathy Osgood are headed to England and Scotland to do the well known ( in some bike circles) Land's End to John O'Groats traverse of Great Britain from the Southern tip of Cornwall to the Northern tip of Scotland. 1000 miles in 2 weeks from July 13-Jul 27. Cathy and Larry will rent bikes Walt (Yogi) and Rick ( Rizzy) will use a new Inglis custom built e-tandem which they have christened LEVIathon. They will be guided by the Peak Tours Team out of Glossop , England. We'll try to post something each day for friends and family especially those of you who don't use facebook or other similar social media.
